About The Role Reporting to the Senior Packaging Technologist, you’ll support the design, testing and development of packaging solutions for a wide range of customers. You’ll get hands-on experience with prototypes, packaging trials, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, production, prepress and marketing teams.
Your Key Focus Areas Will Include
- Assisting in the design, development and optimisation of packaging solutions.
- Participating in packaging trials and evaluating results.
- Working closely with Sales to understand customer requirements.
- Supporting layout design, structural integrity checks and prototyping.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and sustainability standards.
- Contributing to NPD, marketing projects and custom short-run packaging.
- Assisting with promotional props and assets for customer photo and video shoots.
- Driving sustainability initiatives within packaging innovation.

About You We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about sustainable design, and ready to dive into a mix of creative and technical work.
You Will Have
- Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- High level of organisation and problem-solving ability
- Passion for sustainability and reducing environmental impact
- Colour vision accuracy (for packaging assessment)
A Certificate in Design, Drafting or related field is desirable but not essential.
