Two lovely families living in a duplex in Mount Pleasant, Calgary, with two children each (ages 6, almost 3, 5, and 2), are looking for a kind and experienced full-time nanny to join their team starting ASAP. The nanny will care for a maximum of two children at a time, typically from the same family. They are offering up to $35 per hour for the right candidate.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Primary responsibilities mainly include, but are not limited to:
- Providing general childcare, including school pick-up.
- Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping.
- General house management.
The nanny will begin the day at one family's home and spend the second half of the day at the other (next door). If children are home due to illness or school closures (e.g., Pro-D days), the nanny will still only care for two children at a time, while the other two will stay with their grandparents.
They are particularly looking for someone who is kind and experienced, enjoys cooking healthy meals for families, is comfortable with light housework, and loves engaging children in crafts and imaginative play.
One family also has a gentle, quiet, hypoallergenic Samoyed dog who is wonderful with the children. The dog typically attends doggy daycare but may occasionally be home, so the nanny should be comfortable around pets.
Driving is not required.
