Position Overview Reporting to the Structures Manager, the Structures Technician plays a key role in maintaining the structural integrity, reliability, and airworthiness of a diverse fleet of helicopters. Working as part of a highly skilled team, this position is responsible for fabricating, repairing, modifying, and restoring aircraft structural components in accordance with engineering specifications, regulatory requirements, and Alpine Aerotech's quality standards. Through precision craftsmanship, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence, the Structures Technician helps ensure every aircraft leaves our facility safe, reliable, and ready for service. As a Structures Technician, your craftsmanship and attention to detail help ensure helicopters remain airworthy, reliable, and capable of operating in some of the world's most demanding environments. The quality of your work directly supports Alpine Aerotech's reputation as a global leader in helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul. How You'll Make an Impact Structural Repair & Fabrication Design, lay out, and perform structural repairs in accordance with Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Technical Bulletins (TBs), engineering drawings, and approved data. Fabricate, assemble, and fit structural components to precise specifications while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and quality. Perform sheet metal repairs, structural modifications, and component fabrication across a variety of helicopter platforms. Apply corrosion control, metal treatment, and preservation processes to maximize aircraft reliability and longevity. Quality & Regulatory Compliance Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, engineering specifications, and Alpine Aerotech's quality standards. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to structural repairs, fabrication activities, and maintenance tasks. Follow all regulatory requirements, company procedures, safe work practices, and personal protective equipment (PPE) standards. Teamwork & Technical Excellence Collaborate with fellow technicians, inspectors, engineers, and leadership to achieve production goals while maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards. Demonstrate professionalism, craftsmanship, and technical excellence that supports Alpine Aerotech's reputation for delivering world-class helicopter maintenance services. Continuous Improvement Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and operational performance. Continuously develop technical knowledge and stay current with evolving repair methods, materials, and industry best practices. What You'll Bring to Our Team Graduation from a Transport Canada accredited Aviation Structures program. AME-S Licence or a strong desire to pursue certification. Experience performing structural repairs, sheet metal fabrication, aircraft modifications, or related aviation structures work is considered an asset. Strong understanding of aircraft structures, fabrication techniques, corrosion control processes, and structural repair methodologies. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, repair instructions, and approved technical data. Valid Driver's Licence. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
