Assignment:

• Part-time 0.60 FTE Educational Assistant position

• Duties to commence January 5, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year

• Duties will include providing individual assistance to students with diverse needs within an inclusive classroom

Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with complex needs

• Ability to formulate strong and healthy relationships

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality

• Calm and patient approach to solving problems and assisting with coregulation

• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment

• Ability to work one on one or with a student in an inclusive environment

• Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs

• Ability to be flexible in assigned duties; may include personal care and hygiene
