About the role

Faculty/Department Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies Unit KHS - Sessionals Employee Group URFA CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Sessional Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary

This course will provide an introduction to the macro and micro nutrients vital to health and well-being with specific reference to the Dietary Reference Intakes and the Canada’s Food Guide to Health Eating. Emphasis will be on their function, metabolism and dietary sources.

Position Requirements

A graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred) in an area appropriate for the course (i.e. Kinesiology, Nutrition, Dietetics). Courses in the subject area at a graduate or undergraduate level from an accredited post-secondary institution we would consider transfer credit from are required. Demonstrated, relevant work experience, particularly in the area of Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, and/or Dietetics will be considered an asset.

Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA collective agreement Status Term Work Hours

This course is being offered in person, on campus, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thursday’s, between 8:30am-9:45am.
