We’re looking for an experienced full service restaurant leader based in Central Ontario (Barrie, Orillia, Collingwood, for example), reporting directly to our Director of Operations (who is based in Toronto). You will coach and lead each franchisee and their teams within your region to deliver extraordinary hospitality along with superior operational excellence. Additionally, you will manage and assume overall responsibility for the success of our restaurants within your region by leading and directing on all operational aspects of the restaurants and driving sales, whilst training on maximizing profitability.
As The Business Consultant, You Will
- Ensure that all restaurant team members hold themselves to our St. Louis level of extraordinary hospitality and operational standards.
- Set sales, operational goals and expectations for your region of restaurants, and ensure that goals and expectations are achieved through regular monitoring.
- Coach and ensure that we are continually focused on creating regulars within our restaurants.
- Ensure franchisees are dealing with all opportunities & guest inquiries quickly and courteously.
- Have an in-depth understanding of the market so that you can maintain competitive awareness by continuously monitoring the competition and then reacting accordingly to maintain the business advantage.
- Provide training and development for all team members in regional restaurant area.
- Ensure all reports are reviewed, studied and completed as required.
- Create action plans on areas of opportunities through the evaluations of existing business procedures.
- Analyze all financial statements including Profit and Loss Statements to find opportunities for cost-effectiveness and profitability to drive optimal EBITDA.
- Work as a strong link between restaurants and our St. Louis home office.
Qualifications & Experience You Bring
- Minimum 4 years of leadership & coaching experience within a full service restaurant franchise business model
- A team player with the ability to function effectively in cross-departmental and internal/external teams
- Experience coaching and leading others to success through good business processes & practices
- Strategic thinking & planning abilities with the ability to implement plans through to execution
- Strong ability to problem solve while communicating effectively with all key stakeholders and guests
- Effective oral and written communication is required for interactions at all levels.
- Well organized, self-managing, with strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- A self-driven disposition
- Ability to deal with unexpected work demands, changes to deadlines and high pressure
- The LOVE of hospitality and creating regulars!
- Consistent access to a vehicle to travel between restaurant locations
- The ability, flexibility, and willingness to work on some evenings and weekends based on business needs
