Housekeeping Supervisor - 3 Month Contract (CSE)

Job Description Civeo Services Employees LP is currently looking to fill a position for a Housekeeping Supervisor role for our Fort McMurray oil sands region. The Housekeeping Supervisor goes above and beyond to ensure exceptional customer service. The successful incumbent works as a member of the Housekeeping Team to achieve overall performance goals, identify opportunities, and maintain an efficient, effective work environment. This position will be on a rotation basis 20 days on, 10 days off as required by the business.
NOTE: This is a temporary role for up to 3 months with the possibility of extension. Key Responsibilities
- Building, strengthening and maintaining excellent communication skills with all our employees
- Supervising housekeeping staff (Camp Attendants, Janitors & other workers)
- Ensuring quality and standards are being met or exceeded
- Assigning rooms to Camp Attendants
- Preparing morning briefings (toolbox notes)
- Training new employees on standards and expectations
- Checking the linen counts for laundry pickup and delivery days
- Assisting with safety meetings
- Assisting with inventory counts and ordering as required
- Assisting and coordinating with front desk to ensure seamless guest experiences
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-years’ experience in a supervisory role in a related industry
- Front office experience is an asset, formal housekeeping training is required
- Computer literacy in Microsoft products including Excel and Word
- Familiarity with hotel management/ property systems would be an asset
- Must be able to pass Pre-Access (drug/alcohol) test
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Able to manage time efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to make sound decisions quickly
- Strong organizational skills
