- Deep knowledge of core UX methodologies including Information Architecture, Storyboarding, Journey Mapping, Rapid Ideation, Prototyping, Usability Testing, Persona Creation, Competitive Analysis and System Thinking
- Proficiency with key design tools (specifically Figma) and familiarity with project management platforms (JIRA)
- Proven ability to utilize user data and metrics to inform design decisions
- AI Fluency: Experience leveraging and direct usage of AI tools (e.g., Figma Make, LLM deep research) for brainstorming, prototyping, and accelerating the design workflow
- Proven ability to work in direct collaboration with product managers and developers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to implementation

- We are seeking an exceptional and passionate Senior UX Designer to join our award-winning, mission-driven Experience Design & Research team
- This is a pivotal role for a designer to operate as a UX leader across our design team and cross-functional product stakeholders
- Your primary objective will be to define design strategy and drive implementation from initial concept through delivery and launch
- This role is ideal for someone who excels in the discovery phase, capable of identifying complex user problems through collaboration with research, leading dynamic ideation, and translating ambiguity into clear, high-impact design
- Crucially, you will partner closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure the accurate and high-quality implementation of features into the final product delivered to our customers
- You will be instrumental in evolving our UX practice, leveraging your deep skills in interaction design, prototyping, and AI-assisted workflows to deliver world-class solutions recognized globally for excellence
- Candidates must include a portfolio, personal website, or work samples demonstrating UX apps and services solutions to be considered for the position
- Collaborate with the global UX team to design the next generation of public and private safety applications and device interfaces, ensuring design unity and process evolution across the company
- Lead the entire product design lifecycle—from ideation and prototyping to final delivery—in close collaboration with UX researchers and product managers, turning field insights into reality
- Work with product managers to influence product strategy, ensuring a user-centric and design-led approach to development
- Design ethical, human-centric experiences around AI and ML technologies
- Articulate complex interaction concepts and design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to secure buy-in for design solutions
- Conduct usability testing and utilize qualitative/quantitative research and contextual inquiries to inform design decisions
- Take ownership of projects, manage communication of timelines, and execute independently
- Establish, promote, and evangelize design guidelines, best practices, tools, and standards to evolve our UX practice and craft. Mentor other designers across the team
