Finance Analyst- Full Time

Hamilton, Ontario

Salary: $60,000-$70,000

Position Description: As the Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing, managing, and delivering accurate and timely financial reports across multiple government and institutional stakeholders. You will report to the Finance Manager and collaborate across internal teams to support operational effectiveness, ensure funding compliance, and uphold the highest standards of financial integrity. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will play a critical role in fulfilling Indwell's mission to create hope and homes for all.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid, but primarily based out of the Hamilton main office at 1430 Main St. E.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Government and Program Reporting

  • Prepare and submit quarterly reports to municipalities
  • Manage quarterly SRI and MIS reports for Ontario Health
  • Submit CAPS and one-time funding reports for the Ministry of Health
  • Complete Rent Supplement year-end reconciliations and budget submissions
  • Prepare Annual Reconciliation Reports (Q4 SRI audits)
  • Produce CMHC and CMLS annual reporting packages
  • Submit accurate T3010 and Statistics Canada filings
  • Maintain and submit accurate loan reports for lenders including Libro Credit Union, First National, TD Bank and others

Operating Agreement Oversight

  • 140 and 143 Waterloo Programs: Quarterly reporting and budget submissions
  • 403 Thompson Road Program: Quarterly and audited statements
  • King William Flats Program: Quarterly reporting and calendar year reconciliations

Financial Support Services

  • Assist with refinancing activities, including lender liaison and documentation prep
  • Support management with draw requests, ensuring proper document preparation
  • Coordinate and ensure accuracy of property tax reporting

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • A commitment to upholding and modeling Indwell’s mission, values, and policies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • CPA designation would be an asset
  • Strong Excel proficiency: Power Query, PivotTables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH
  • Experience using Yardi: report creation, account trees, and property list management
  • Proven attention to detail and ability to interpret financial data
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to adapt to dynamic financial scenarios
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards under ASNPO
  • Exceptional time management, organization, and communication skills
