Digital Content Publisher

As a leading clothing retailer of finer menswear based in Toronto and operating in major centres across Canada, we are currently seeking a – Digital Content Publisher to join our growing E-Commerce team. We have been in business for over 70 years and take pride in our status as a leader in the retail industry in Canada, and in our dedication to delivering an exceptional product and outstanding customer experience.
Our Ecommerce Department is a highly talented team of collaborative and visionary individuals that keep Harry Rosen Inc. competitive within the retail industry.
We have recently transitioned to a new state-of-the-art platform, and we need you to help take us to the next level of Omni-Channel excellence. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly talented group of individuals and work in a dynamic environment where strategies to optimize our E-Commerce footprint are a significant priority for our business. This is a very exciting time in the history of our Company and you can have a significant impact on how we elevate this channel to represent our brand, high standards, and service levels that our clients deserve and expect.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Uploading all content and images for E-Commerce website and all Digital Applications.

Organizing and prioritizing assets and ensuring timely and accurate publication of all content.

Maintain and update websites, using our Content Management System (CMS) in a timely manner using images, copy, and translations provided by Marketing.

Design customer journeys with cross-functional partners to promote strategic products, brands, and initiatives

Brief in all assets needs and ensure timely delivery from internal partners.

Monitor site schedule to ensure it is followed and updated accordingly. Digital Assets are saved and filed accordingly.

Review all-new online content to ensure information is accurate, complete, and current prior to upload.

Perform live and testing site audits to address issues such as broken links or incorrect attributes spelling errors; all problems are immediately resolved where possible or otherwise prioritized for further escalation.

Support tickets are created and followed up on with IT, Digital, and external third-party resources to resolve outstanding site issues.

Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify industry trends, benchmark performance, and uncover opportunities for strategic growth
Special projects
- Support occasional special projects that involve cross-functional teams
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Technology, Ecommerce and/or other related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a CMS system, website management, and enforcing online standards
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS is an asset
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop for editing and optimizing images is desirable
- Strong knowledge of usability best practices, UX/UI standards, information architecture
- Great attention to detail and highly meticulous
- Must be available to periodically work outside typical office hours
- Experience updating website platforms such as Shopify, WordPress ,and Squarespace
- Effective time management skills and detail orientation
- Ability to work and thrive in an agile environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated by inquisitiveness, collecting data, analyzing trends, drawing conclusions, and making actionable recommendations that drive sales
- Deep knowledge of web and mobile user experience designs and best practices
- Comprehensive knowledge and awareness of industry trends (online and retail)
- Effective written and oral communication skills with people at different organizational levels
- Ability to multitask and set priorities under tight time constraints
- Self-managed and possesses a positive attitude
- Retail business experience is an asset
