About the role
Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I (NMT) performs all routine nuclear medicine procedures, and attends to the diagnostic and care needs of patients undergoing diagnostic/therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. The NMT I is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Positive attitude with desire to learn and contribute to the team. Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail. Recent Graduate of an accredited program with current licensing. Prior experience in clinical setting or hospital.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent experience in a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department. Experience with SPECT/CT and PET imaging considered an asset. IV certification and experience with contrast administration an asset.
