We are seeking a responsible, safety-focused Millwright to join our Abbotsford maintenance team. This is a full-time permanent union role where you?ll carry out preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on all site equipment, ensuring safe, efficient plant operations. We welcome both Journeyman Millwrights and Journeyman Electricians with strong mechanical skills. This is a safety-sensitive role, requiring pre-employment D&A testing.

What you bring:

• Your Journeyman Certification, Red Seal Certified is preferred.
• Strong physical fitness with ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read mechanical schematics and troubleshoot, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Mechanical expertise; electrical or automation skills are a plus.
• A valid BC's driver's license.
• First aid and safety training considered an asset.
• 5+ years of experience is preferred.

Job responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment.
• Safely maintain, repair, and inspect mechanical systems.
• Detect and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Work occasional evenings/weekends as required.
• Schedule is 4 x 10-hour shifts.
