Recovery & Tribunal Affairs Assistant (Summer Student)

Boardwalk provides Canadians with a quality, comfortable, home living experience. We offer rental apartments and townhouses that come in a wide breadth of shapes, sizes and sets of amenities. We operate over 34,000 units across Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Quebec.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct administrative support to the VP, Resident Care and Tribunal Affairs, including support related to Operations, Recovery, Tribunal Affairs, and Resident Care teams
- Prepare legal documents, including Declarations of Service and Affidavits of Service
- Manage collections, deposits, and invoicing Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
- Experience in a related administrative environment
Technical Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing systems and new technology
Non-technical Requirements:
- Excellent administrative skills
- Detail-oriented and diligent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information and always maintain utmost confidentiality with tact, diplomacy and integrity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Additional Details:
- Full-time hours from May through August
- Full time in-office work required
