Senior Account Manager BX Studio | Remote | Contract
About BX Studio BX Studio is a rapidly scaling digital agency working with enterprise brands including Reddit, Headspace, and Verifone, as well as growth-stage startups. We specialize in web design, development, and SEO/AEO services. In the past year, we've grown from 24 to 70 people, doubled our revenue, and won Webflow’s 2025 Enterprise Partner of the Year award.
The Role We're hiring a Senior Account Manager to own client relationships, drive retention, and expand revenue across a portfolio of 8-12 accounts You have 5+ years of relevant experience in account management, project management, or customer success at a digital agency This is not an entry-level role - we're looking for someone who can operate autonomously and build strategic partnerships with marketing executives and founders If you're more of a pure Project Manager, this likely isn't the right fit - our PMs handle day-to-day delivery while AMs own the relationship and account sales activity
What We're Looking For
Client Partnership You have a track record of building trusted advisor relationships with clients - not just managing accounts, but genuinely understanding their business, anticipating needs, and translating organizational goals into strategic initiatives. Revenue Growth & Retention You're experienced in owning renewals, identifying expansion opportunities, and growing accounts. You're comfortable discussing budgets, ROI, pricing, and contract terms while maintaining excellent client retention. Website & Digital Project Management Background You have strong experience with web design, development, and SEO projects in an agency setting. This background makes you an effective collaborator with our Project Managers and helps you scope realistic proposals.
Interest in Building the Discipline You're interested in contributing to our account management playbook - templates, processes, QBR frameworks - recognizing that great account management is a team effort.
Bonus Experience with analytics, content marketing, CRO, and branding Digital strategy background that helps you advise clients beyond just delivery
What You'll Do
Serve as primary account lead and trusted advisor for your portfolio Develop strong relationships with marketing executives and founders Own renewal conversations and all account sales activity Identify, scope, and pitch expansion opportunities Ensure seamless client experience from sales handoff through ongoing delivery Proactively identify and resolve delivery and client satisfaction issues Understand our client’s business goals and build actionable roadmaps with PMs and capability specialists Collaborate with leadership on pricing, packaging, and account growth plays
