Overview of Position:
Cobra Enterprises is seeking a Plant Coordinator to support project operations, data management, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and detail-oriented — someone who thrives on managing multiple moving parts, building clean Excel trackers, and ensuring accurate communication between Operations, Finance, and Management.
This position plays a key role in coordinating logistics, monitoring budgets and timelines, and helping identify cost variances across multiple projects. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily project logistics, schedules, and timelines while managing competing priorities.
- Maintain organized systems for tracking data, tasks, and deadlines across multiple projects.
- Build and maintain Excel spreadsheets for tracking budgets, schedules, costs, quantities, and progress.
- Create standardized trackers and summary reports for project updates and management review.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Management, and Finance to ensure data accuracy and timely communication.
- Prepare cost summaries, budget variance reports, and other financial documentation as required.
- Investigate and help resolve discrepancies between budgeted and actual costs.
- Support process improvements and assist in building standard operating procedures and checklists.
- Consolidate and standardize project information from multiple sources into a single reporting structure.
- Present project data and analytics in a clear, visual, and easy-to-understand format.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in all reporting activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, project accounting, or administrative support within construction or operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis).
- Strong financial acumen and comfort working with cost reporting, job costing, and budget variance analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with Viewpoint Vista/Trimble, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex information clearly.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Minimum or Other Qualifications:
- Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive in identifying solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Customer service–oriented approach with a commitment to teamwork.
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve systems and processes.
Work conditions:
May include travel, ability to lift 50+ lbs, required safety equipment, hazards associated with the trade, work both indoors and outdoors, construction sites, noise, irregular hours.
