Location/Relocation:
- Role is based in Toronto .
- Open to candidates willing to relocate.
Essential Program/Technology/Software Knowledge:
- Microsoft Office: Proficient (daily use for reporting, tracking, and communications)
- Planview: Familiar (update/reconcile information, monitor changes, address questions, maintain PMO governance)
- Tableau: Familiar (collect, analyze, and report project data)
- Other Project Management Tools: Knowledge of MS Project, Jira/Confluence, Asana
Must-Have Skills/Experience/Education:
- Project Management, Risk Management, Audit, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred
Nice-to-Have Skills/Experience/Education:
- CSM, PMP certifications
- Master’s degree
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills; customer-oriented
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to review project status updates and commentaries
Daily Responsibilities / ‘Day in the Life’:
- Project Management Tool Admin: Maintain Planview, reconcile source data, monitor changes, address questions.
- Project Governance: Implement/maintain PMO standards, monitor compliance, manage risk/issue registers.
- Project Risk Management: Navigate enterprise approval processes, guide project practitioners on risk assessments.
- Project Support: Assist with project planning, budget tracking, resource allocation, and documentation.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report project data (progress, risks, budgets) to support decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Identify lessons learned and areas for enhancement in project execution and PMO processes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate alignment and understanding among project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
