What You'll Do
As a Quality Engineer, you will help maintain and improve our Quality Management System while partnering with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to ensure the highest standards of quality are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements. Conduct root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, A3, and Fishbone Analysis. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring quality issues. Support internal audits and external customer and certification audits. Maintain quality documentation, including control plans, FMEAs, inspection plans, and work instructions. Perform and review First Article Inspections (FAI), PPAP submissions, process validations, and production inspections. Monitor quality metrics, customer complaints, non-conformances, and process trends to identify improvement opportunities. Collaborate with production teams to resolve manufacturing quality concerns and improve process performance. Work with suppliers to improve incoming material quality and supplier performance. Issue and track quality alerts and non-conformance reports (NCRs). Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and continuous improvement techniques to improve operational effectiveness. Support new product introductions and engineering changes from a quality perspective.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or a related discipline. 2-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, or a related manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and Quality Management Systems. Experience working with suppliers and customer quality issues. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other quality reporting tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Like to Have Qualifications
Experience within electronics, aerospace, automotive, medical device, or similar manufacturing environments. Experience with AS9100 and/or IATF 16949. Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Internal Auditor certification. Experience leading improvement projects. Demonstrated leadership potential and interest in future supervisory or management responsibilities.
