Enviros Program Clinician

Position Summary
This Program Clinician supports Enviros Live In programs involved in Children and Family Services (total of 3 programs, 16 children and youth). The Clinician provides the Therapeutic direction and oversight of the services offered through group care. The Clinician, in partnership with the program leadership, advises the teams in assessing needs of children and youth entering programs, provides therapeutic direction and support in care planning, provides consultation on intervention strategies used in the milieu and in community, supports ongoing outcomes measurements, and successful permanency planning or transitions.
The Clinician supports the teams in training on topics related to therapeutic direction. They support reflection on the environment through the lens of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), attachment, and other trauma informed approaches. They provide
input into Enviros framework of Principle Based Practice, and consult on individualized planning. The Clinician works with Enviros leadership and Children and Family Services to collaborate on safety planning, crisis intervention, suicide prevention and intervention, and supporting family and natural support work.
The Clinician provides some one to one therapeutic supports to person served and counseling/assessment on an as needed basis. If more intensive services/supports are required a referral will be made to mental health services.
The Clinician is responsible for some report writing, clinical assessment and outcome assessment reporting, as well as Resident Presentations around strengths and needs and facilitating case reviews. The Clinician, alongside program leadership, supports the teams in ensuring standards are met for client care and is supported by strong practices that foster growth.
The Clinician will attend staff meetings, and leadership meeting to support both the supervision model for supervisors and the mentorship cycle. Responsibilities include supporting the greater agency with its philosophy, functions and delivery of its Vision and Mission.

Principle Based Practice Enviros’ Principle Based Practice is a model that utilizes principles to guide and drive action in practice, a decision-making tool in our interventions addressing critical areas of need, and the foundational structure of support for the crucial work we do incorporating strengths and culture into our day-to-day interactions. This model utilizes core principles to ensure a holistic approach is taken when supporting people. It ensures there is direction from the person served and an integrated planning mechanism where natural supports are present. This practice supports individuals to reach their vision for themselves and reduce reliance on systems.
Enviros developed our principles to reach across the organization and to be applicable in all areas of our service delivery continuum. They represent our core beliefs in supporting people. The definition and resulting action of principles are interwoven into the therapeutic models in each program and create a basis for implementation of other leading practices.
