The Glencoe Club is a private, family-oriented sports and social club located in the Elbow Park neighbourhood of Calgary, Alberta. We are seeking a Full Time and a Part-Time Food & Beverage Server. As a Food & Beverage Server you are highly motivated and experienced with a strong passion for the Food & Beverage industry combined with exceptional member and employee service values and skills in this innovative dining space. You will aspire “to be our members’ second home, providing excellence in all that we do” – you will carry this vision through all that you do.
Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional dining experience with prompt, efficient and friendly service to members and their guests
- Effectively address member concerns, ands escalate whenever needed
- Collaborate closely with fellow servers, kitchen staff, and supervisors to maintain smooth service and a positive, supportive work environment
- Maintain clear and respectful two-way communication with members, guests, and team members to ensure special requests, dietary needs, or concerns are addressed quickly and accurately
- Ensures compliance with all Glencoe Health and Safety standards, the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations and the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission License requirements
- Attend required staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops to stay updated on service standards, menu changes, and Club policies
- Other assignments as required to contribute to an outstanding member experience
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of related food and beverage experience required
- ProServe Certification is required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- An outgoing, positive attitude and strong professionalism
- Must be able to comfortable with the duties of the position for the duration of the shift and lift supplies weighing up to 50 lbs

Additional Details This is a Full-Time and a Part-Time position that report to the Restaurant Experience Manager. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The Club does not provide assistance with obtaining Canadian work authorization.
