Job Summary:
The sourcing team is looking for an intern to join the Fit Team at our Head Office (in Montreal, Canada) for a paid, full-time, 12-week summer internship from May 25-August 14, 2026.
As a GDI intern, you will be a contributing member of our team and will have the opportunity to fully participate in our business. Join us for an immersive summer of hands-on experience at a leading fashion retailer.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Fit and Spec team;
- Certify that all garments have the proper fit, look, style and quality;
- Maintain high quality standards in accordance with company standards;
- Measure fit and production samples against size specifications to ensure that the desired fit is consistently achieved.
- Attend fit sessions to observe and experience a live fitting.
Qualifications:
- Educational background in fashion design;
- Knowledge of garment manufacturing;
- Knowledge of Illustrator, MS Office Suite and Bamboo Rose (software);
- Thoroughness, attention to detail.
