Howe Sound Pulp and Paper has an immediate opportunity for a full-time, permanent Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) at our Port Mellon facility working 4 x 10-hour shifts (Mon - Thurs)
As a member of the Maintenance team, you will provide safe maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment and systems to ensure optimum production.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Red Seal Certification
• Experience working within an industrial setting
• Experience with pump rebuilds, mechanical seals, hydraulic systems, bearing installation and other industrial equipment
• Superior troubleshooting skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to working safely
Compensation and Benefits • Hourly rate of $48.66 as per the Howe Sound Labour Agreement
• Overtime is compensated per the Howe Sound Labour Agreement
• Comprehensive benefits package including extended health/dental coverage and pension
• Relocation benefit
