Aecon Technical Solutions Inc. employs highly trained technicians to perform telecommunications infrastructure installations. Whether at residential, retail, commercial, institutional or hospitality environments ATSI is well-suited to assist clients with their telecom installation needs.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Resource Planner will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks for workforce planning. This position involves working independently and as part of a team, exercising judgment, initiative and multi-tasking skills.
What You'll Do Here
- Coordinate, update, and maintain technician schedules.
- Assist with technician onboarding, including documentation and system setup.
- Provide timely and accurate administrative and clerical support.
- Learn, interpret, and apply organizational policies, rules, and procedures.
- Maintain organized digital document files.
- Monitor schedule changes and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with field supervisors and project teams to ensure resource needs are met.
- Support general office operations as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
What You Bring To The Team
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and work independently.
- Experience with workforce planning, scheduling, or logistics considered an asset.
- Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role considered an asset.
The expected hourly salary for this position is $24-$26. Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience and unique skills.
