Job Responsibilities Overseeing Operations: Supervise daily warehouse and receiving operations to ensure efficiency and productivity Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and train team members to optimize their performance while fostering a positive work environment Inventory Control: Establish efficient inventory systems and controls for all materials. Properly store inventory according to established methods Quality Assurance: Inspect materials and products upon arrival to ensure they meet quality standards and address any discrepancies NCR Status Follow-Up: Follow up with the Purchasing department on open NCRs. Ensure rejected materials are verified, stored in designated quarantine areas, and accessible for further verification Coordination with Other Departments: Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and other departments to ensure effective communication and workflow Safety Regulation Compliance: Implement and enforce safety procedures. Conduct bi weekly health and safety meetings, submit meeting minutes, and report/investigate any accidents or minor incidents Performance Monitoring: Track team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions Problem-Solving: Quickly address and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions Scheduling: Manage and adjust work schedules to meet deadlines and handle fluctuating workloads effectively Equipment Management: Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of all warehouse equipment. Keep a record of all equipment inspection reports on a daily basis to ensure safety and compliance Reporting: Prepare daily plans with Cell Leads and teams, discuss with the reporting Manager, and submit a report on pending tasks at the end of each day Receiving Operations: Oversee the receiving process, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and report any damage or discrepancies Materials Storage: Maintain sustainable warehouse mapping and labeling by conducting daily audits. Maintain an orderly receiving area as well as the general maintenance of the Warehouse Production Inquiries: Support production departments with inquiries and requests to ensure accurate and timely deliveries 6S Workplace Organization: Implement and maintain the 6S methodology (Sort, set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) to enhance workplace organization and efficiency Budget Management: Assist in budget planning by monitoring costs and identifying areas for cost savings Competencies – you’re good at: Identify problems and execute appropriate solutions Exceptional relationship building, communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills enabling interaction at all levels Strong business acumen, including problem solving, critical thinking and self-initiative Solution focused and comfortable working in an environment which demands robust deliverables Drive new approaches that enable continuous improvements in production line Comfortable with high volume workload with the ability to “roll up your sleeves” and jump in Strong work ethic, action oriented and desire to achieve excellence High comfort level working in a fast-paced team environment that is constantly changing Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines High comfort level working autonomously and require little day-to-day oversight and direction Working conditions: Lifting and/or carrying anywhere from 0 lbs to 50 lbs Work in a production facility and in an office Repetitive movements and work Standing for extended periods Involves sitting, walking, standing, bending, stooping on a regular basis Walking near to heavy tool and moving machinery Exposure to all types of weather conditions, and dirt, dust and noise Flexibility in scheduling depending on production demands Send Us Your Resume We embrace diversity and offer equal opportunities to all qualified applicants regardless of origin, culture, ethnicity, age, ability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or faith.
