As a Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service across multiple areas of the resort, ensuring that guests have a fantastic experience from start to finish. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver attentive and knowledgeable service to guests at all food and beverage outlets.
- Keep current knowledge of all menu items, beverage options, and promotions.
- Help guests choose menu items and offer recommendations when asked.
- Accurately input orders into the POS system and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.
- Handle guest payments, including cash, credit or debit cards, and room charges.
- Clean, clear, and efficiently reset tables.
- Make sure the service area stays clean, stocked, and organized, including restocking condiments and beverage stations.
- Carry out assigned daily, weekly, and additional tasks.
- Immediately notify a supervisor about any guest concerns, complaints, or issues for resolution.
- Receive liquor and supply orders, organizing them properly.
Competencies
- Exceptional guest service skills focused on achieving high satisfaction levels.
- Demonstrated accountability, including time management, adherence to instructions, and cost efficiency consciousness.
- Ability to collaborate within a team, cultivate positive working relationships, and adjust to changes.
- Able to handle multiple service requests and arrange them for efficient service.
- Proficiency in operating a computerized POS system.
- Basic mathematical skills, such as being able to give change without using a calculator.
- Familiarity with food and beverages, including mixing alcoholic drinks based on standard recipes and a fundamental understanding of wine.
Conditions of Employment:
- A flexible schedule is necessary, covering early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business needs.
- Must be 19 years or older to work in the Casino and obtain a Gaming License from the Gaming Policy & Enforcement Branch (GPEB), British Columbia.
- Must obtain or maintain aServing It Rightcertification.
- Must be capable of walking and standing for extended periods.

Located within the traditional territory of the Ktunaxa Nation, St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino features a full-service Resort with 125 rooms and suites, the Casino of the Rockies, and a Les Furber-designed, championship golf course. The Resort you see today was once the St. Eugene Mission, a residential school for First Nations youth. Following a dark period of our history, we powerfully chose to reclaim the Mission building as a way forward, a place for learning and economic development for our future generations.
