Supply Chain Associate (Permanent) Victoria, BC Expected Salary: $51,888 to $64,859

To determine final salary, Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful Candidate’s skills and experience and internal equity. The final base salary offer is at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide support to Procurement & Supply Chain team, including:

  • Scheduling and facilitating meetings, including compiling meeting minutes and recording & tracking actions

  • Managing and maintaining documents as required

  • Producing reports and presentations for governance, progress meetings, etc. as required

  • Develop metrics and manage databases in support of functional delivery objectives

  • Support in the administration of requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement activities

  • Establish an effective document and records management system (electronic and hard copy filing, archiving) ensuring compliance with Document Control processes

  • Manage SharePoint sites to facilitate communications and data availability

  • Support effective data management, including collating data sets to facilitate reporting

  • Develop, manage, and release communications and formal reporting to the client

  • Assist in the management of key improvement initiatives, including the development of processes and procedures

  • Track and follow up on reports, action items, and deliverables to ensure timely completion

  • Perform other duties as reasonably assigned to support business needs

The ideal candidate brings:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or certificate in Administration, Business Management, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience; however, new graduate applications will be considered.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • An attitude that thrives under pressure and your time management and prioritization skills are excellent
  • Excellent organizational and record keeping skills, and demonstrated exceptional attention-to-detail
  • Experience in SharePoint and managing large databases
  • A track record of identifying and implementing administrative solutions to increase efficiencies
  • Demonstrated good judgment and a high level of confidentiality
  • Experience working in a project-based environment is an asset
  • Experience working with the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) and/or Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is an asset
  • You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
