Are you a strategic talent acquisition leader who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment?

ParaMed is looking for a Director, Talent Acquisition to shape the future of our recruitment function and leverage technology including artificial intelligence to design and implement innovative strategies that strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional home health care across Canada.

In this senior role, you will guide a national team of recruiters and their managers, build long-term pipelines for clinical, allied and supervisory health roles, and work closely with senior leaders to ensure our workforce strategy aligns with the growing needs of the communities we serve.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute a national talent acquisition strategy aligned with ParaMed’s growth and operational priorities.
  • Partner with executive, regional, and district leaders to forecast hiring needs and develop workforce plans.
  • Strengthen ParaMed’s employer brand within the healthcare sector.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of specialized recruiters.
  • Oversee recruitment operations, workflows, and ATS optimization to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Build innovative sourcing strategies to access key clinical and allied health talent pools.
  • Build and manage recruitment dashboards, KPIs, and workforce reports.
  • Use insights and analytics to inform decision-making, improve fill rates, and enhance quality-of-hire.
  • Present recruitment performance and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders across all regions.
  • Oversee external recruitment partnerships, job boards, and vendors.
  • Ensure alignment between recruitment, HR, and operational priorities.
  • Ensure recruitment processes adhere to legal and regulatory guidelines across provinces.
  • Standardize recruitment processes to deliver consistency across regions.

What You Bring:

  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, including leadership of multi-location or national teams.
  • Strong experience recruiting in healthcare, clinical, or high-volume operational environments.
  • Proven success building TA strategies in decentralized or multi-site organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and scale a high-performing recruitment team.
  • Expertise in using recruitment analytics, dashboards, and KPIs to drive strategy and outcomes.
  • Strong influencing and partnering skills; able to collaborate with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead change, optimize processes, and manage large-scale recruitment initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Post-secondary degree in HR, Business, or a related field (Master’s or HR certification is an asset).
