As they gear up for their busy seasonal period, our client in Guelph is looking for a dependable Tire and Lube Technician to help things running smoothy!  This is a seasonal, fixed term role.

As a Tire and Lube Technician, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing basic automotive maintenance services in a fast-paced, customer focused environment.  This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience in the automotive field or for a skilled tech looking for short-term seasonal work.

Responsibilities:

·        Install, change, rotate, and balance tires

·        Check tire pressure and filling as per manufacturer specifications

·        Perform oil changes and basic fluid checks

·        Perform fluid/filter replacement and other vehicle maintenance items

·        Lubricating moving parts as necessary

·        Maintain a clean and organized workspace

·        Follow safety procedures and shop protocols

·        Provide excellent service to customers and support the team as needed

·        Consulting lead mechanics to address vehicle issues

·        Other duties as assigned

Requirements

·        Previous tire/lube experience an asset

·        Mechanical aptitude and knowledge

·        Proficiency with hand tools

·        Strong work ethic and positive attitude

·        Ability to lift up to 50lbs

·        Reliable and punctual

·        Valid drivers’ license preferred
