Role Description This is a part time, on-site Personal Support Worker role located in Burlington, ON. The Personal Support Worker provides direct care and assistance with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and meal preparation, while promoting client independence. Responsibilities include observing and reporting changes in client condition, following care plans, supporting safe environments, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also involves offering emotional support, fostering positive relationships, and collaborating with families and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, client-centered care. Qualifications

Relevant experience as a Support Worker or Personal Support Worker, with a client-centered approach to care. Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust and effectively interact with clients, families, and colleagues. Knowledge of Safeguarding practices and commitment to health, safety, and confidentiality standards. Ability to provide basic Technical Support related to client care equipment and documentation tools. Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker or equivalent healthcare support program. Ability to perform physical tasks such as assisting with transfers and mobility in a safe manner. Reliability, punctuality, and strong organizational skills, including attention to detail in reporting and record-keeping. Current CPR/First Aid certification and clear background check; experience in community or home care settings is an asset.
