SAIT Students' Association (Saitsa) is a non-profit organization dedicated to representing and enhancing the student experience for SAIT students. Through a variety of student services, activities, and programming, Saitsa strives to meet its students' diverse needs and interests. The organization also advocates on behalf of students at the institutional level and with all levels of government to ensure their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed. Continually pushing the boundaries of the ideal student experience, Saitsa is committed to making a meaningful impact in its student community.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB, for a Student Experience Assistant in the Resource Centre. The selected candidate will assist in planning, coordinating, and supporting resource and service initiatives for students. Tasks include welcoming and assisting students, promoting available resources, supporting events, maintaining an organized and functional resource center, and collecting feedback to enhance student services.

Qualifications

Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with a diverse student population Customer service and conflict resolution skills Basic administrative and computer proficiency, including email and word processing software Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as needed Familiarity with student services or experience working in a similar role is an asset Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students
