The Opportunity:

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and diverse team while also collaborating with the Measurement and Operations team to conduct schematic reviews and verifications. Schematics are a vital source of information for making business decisions. Thriving in this role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills and being able to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to changing environments is essential.   • Job location: Calgary, Alberta
  • Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shift

Key Accountabilities:

  • Analyze, review, and signoff on new and revised measurement schematics to ensure accurate volumetric reporting, correct system setups, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with Field Operations on Gate 2 drawings, field flows, measurement, well and facility configurations
  • Provide support and work with other team members to deliver training to Property Accounting and other Canadian Natural departments on measurement schematics and Intricate
  • Assist with implementation of Intricate
  • Other projects as required

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Degree in Accounting or Business Administration and a CAPPA (Canadian Association of Petroleum Property Accounting) Certification
  • 8+ years of progressive production and revenue accounting experience
  • Knowledgeable in Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan measurement and accounting directives
  • Adaptable self-starter with strong analytical, communication, problem solving, organizational skills while working in a team
  • Proficiency in PAS, PM Suite, ProMonitor and Excel is considered an asset
