About the role
Your new company
Our client is a notable global architecture firm based in Toronto. Their portfolio spans diverse market sectors, including commercial, retail, residential, industrial, and large-scale mixed-use developments. They are currently looking for an experienced full-time BIM Coordinator/Specialist with at least 3-5 years of experience to join their team based in Toronto.
Your new role
Reporting into the BIM Manager, you will work alongside a large team and lead ongoing efforts to curate, manage implementation and design of standard details, BIM families, templates, and schedules. Acting as front line support, you will coordinate with clients and consultants to provide front-line design technology support to projects on an as-needed basis. You will lead efforts to increase automation in Revit and BIM, while assisting sector leads in setting up new projects, including reviewing BIM Execution Plans, and determining anticipated time for preparing models. You will also ensure all project models are routinely audited for best practices, corruption detection, file size management and usability. You will also lead various design technology trainings with the team to ensure all team members are confident in their usage of new, cutting edge technologies.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have an educational background in architecture/architectural technology or similar, with 3-5+ years of relevant professional experience supporting complex project teams in a variety of project typologies. Proficiency in Revit & Navisworks is a requirement. Experience with Dynamo, Clarity & Power App is a strong asset.
What you'll get in return
The compensation package is commensurate with experience but includes a competitive salary, between $80k-$100k, 3 weeks' of vacation + extra paid personal days, extended health and dental benefits, and a hybrid work schedule.
