Job Summary:
As the Enterprise Architect, you're working under the direction of Head of Architecture to mature Central 1’s enterprise architecture practice and engage regularly with the business to understand the current business challenges and future business needs.
Enterprise Architects align enterprise / business goals and capabilities with project solutions. Additionally, Enterprise Architects can and should “get their hands dirty” to ensure solutions work in critical production environments.
What you'll be doing:

Define and maintain comprehensive technical standards and 3–5-year target architecture roadmaps for key technologies (infrastructure, application layers);
-
Work with project teams and architects to ensure adherence to standards
-
Find and resolve portfolio-wide and project-wide interdependencies and ensure project scheduled accordingly
-
Communicate enterprise objectives and transformation roadmaps with infrastructure, applications, solutions, and business leaders
-
Integrate strategic guidelines into project implementation
-
Review existing business processes and establish metrics to improve business processes, as well as support of all architectural disciplines under their direction.
-
Work on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains.
-
Participate and contribute to technology selection due diligence processes (RFP, RFI, etc.)
-
Research new technology trends and develop position papers
-
Identify opportunities and help implement architecture practices that improves C1’s EA maturity
-
Facilitate the EA governance processes.
-
Manage exceptions to architectural standards at an enterprise level.
What you'll have:
-
Minimum of 10+ years as an architect (enterprise, solution, infrastructure) and / or experience with data engineering, data science, software engineering experience, or front-end and back-end software engineering (i.e., experience as a full stack engineer)
-
5 years in project delivery with at least 1-2 major ($5m+) delivery projects
-
Ability to design solutions within technical domain
-
Ability to create broad architectural vision
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
-
Certification for relevant software programs in technical domain or master’s degree are strong pluses
-
Understanding of data architecture and integration architecture
-
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
-
Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around them

Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace

Passion for innovation and “can do” attitude
Salary range: $140,000 - $150,000
The salary range represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role. The actual salary will vary depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
