About the role
**Job Title:**Customer Support Co-op (Bilingual EN/FR)
**Location:**Markham (remote or hybrid)
**Term:**Co-op term 3 months
**Start Date:**ASAP
We’re looking for a motivated Customer Support Co-op student to join our team. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day customer service activities including order entry, data entry, and inbound phone support. You’ll work closely with a team, learn quickly, and help ensure our customers receive timely, accurate, and friendly support.
What You’ll Do
- Answer inbound calls in English and French and support customers with questions and requests
- Complete order entry and data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Multitask between order processing and incoming calls while maintaining a customer-first approach
- Listen actively, document issues clearly, and help resolve concerns efficiently
- Communicate and collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs
- Use Outlook, Word, and Excel to manage information and support daily tasks
- Support workflow optimization by helping document common customer requests, recurring issues, and process gaps
- Support operational efficiency by assisting with simple reporting, tracking order issues, and suggesting improvements to reduce repeat errors
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual (English/French), written and verbal
- Comfortable with data entry and handling details accurately
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Fast learner who can take direction and adapt quickly
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong multitasking skills (order entry while supporting inbound calls)
- Customer-first mindset and strong listening skills
- Basic to intermediate experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Nice to Have
- Lighting industry experience or knowledge
- French speaking
- Previous customer service, call centre, or admin experience
