Job Description Summary

We are looking for a strategic advisor to join our team as an Human Resources Business Partner who will be responsible for the overall coordination and successful delivery of STEMCELL’s HR Programs within their designated client group.
As a trusted partner, you will support our Manufacturing, Quality Unit, and Supply Chain Operations business groups and will be responsible for coordinating and successfully delivering STEMCELL's HR programs. This will involve close collaboration with Centres of Excellence to provide organizational development support, ensuring alignment with STEMCELL’s people strategy and HR best practices.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Under limited supervision, provide front-line HR consultation, counsel, coaching and development to people managers and employees in all HR practice areas, including legal compliance, employment standards, and employee relations matters for the assigned business group(s)
- Support management in identifying and developing the next generation of leaders, and oversee the development of job profiles and career paths, including job analysis, job design and job evaluation
- Collaborate with the HR functional teams in the planning, implementation, execution and roll-out of HR programs, processes and policies, and provide feedback and guidance on appropriate adjustments of HR strategies to address current business needs
- Identify and track people metrics, oversee staff planning activities and proactively identify organizational structure and strategies to achieve the assigned business groups' objectives
- Demonstrate the value of employee engagement using appropriate measures to encourage productivity, continuous improvement and innovation to strengthen retention of diverse employees
Knowledge and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6-10 years of HR experience with a broad knowledge of HR processes, practices and approaches (CPHR designation is an asset)
- Excellent communication skills as well as, influencing, negotiating, organizational and strong relationship management
- Ability to deal with sensitive and highly confidential HR issues ethically and with tact and discretion
- Excellent judgment, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- HR Expertise, employment laws and standards
- Adaptability and ability to operate with ambiguity and resilience to change

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:
$81,700.00 - $122,500.00
STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
