Kids & Company is looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team!
About Us Kids & Company operates over 150 childcare centres across Canada and the USA. We are committed to providing high‑quality care, supporting our educators, and fostering meaningful learning environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and record keeping
- Implement an Emergent Curriculum based on children’s interests
- Support children’s emotional, physical, and behavioural needs
- Complete attendance and health & safety checks
- Work collaboratively with external professionals (e.g., therapists, interventionists)
- Assist children with transitions throughout the day
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and workshops
Qualifications
- Valid British Columbia ECE License
- Current Criminal Record Check
- Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR
- Up‑to‑date immunizations
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 45 lbs
- Experience working with children with special needs (asset)
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and colleagues
- Comfortable using computer systems for documentation
- Strong problem‑solving and initiative
