Role Description The English Second Language Teacher will deliver live online lessons to learners of varying proficiency levels using YouLearnt’s virtual classroom tools in a remote capacity. Responsibilities include planning and organizing engaging lesson content, presenting clear language instruction, guiding learners through speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities, and providing constructive feedback on their progress. The teacher will design quizzes and practice exercises, support learners preparing for exams such as IELTS, and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance. This position involves collaborating with the YouLearnt team to refine teaching materials, adapting lessons to individual or group needs, and ensuring a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications Strong English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language skills, with the ability to instruct diverse learner groups. Proficient in Lesson Planning and designing structured, goal-oriented learning activities. Experience supporting learners with IELTS preparation and other English proficiency assessments. Effective online teaching skills, including familiarity with virtual classrooms, digital content sharing, and interactive tools. Clear spoken and written communication, with the ability to explain grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in accessible terms. Patience, cultural sensitivity, and a learner-centered approach that promotes engagement and confidence. Preferred: TEFL/TESOL certification, relevant teaching degree or coursework, and prior experience teaching English remotely.
