The Opportunity

The successful candidate will provide frontline customer support within the Nominations and Allocations team managing the day-to-day and month end customer transactions on the NGTL, Foothills and Ventures pipeline systems.

Additional Information

  • Work Schedule: this role requires a modified work schedule with ten and a half hour shifts, utilizing a four-days-on, four-days-off rotation (AM/PM) schedule. Shifts are 7:00 am to 5:30 pm and 10:30 am to 9:00 pm.10 hour shifts. This team works 365 days.

What you’ll do

  • Process nominations, confirmations and other daily and monthly scheduling tasks
  • Work with customers to resolve nomination errors
  • Confirm with interconnecting operators and resolve imbalances
  • Train customers in nominations
  • Respond to customer scheduling inquiries
  • Complete month end allocation processes
  • Provide detailed monthly reports to government bodies and regulators
  • Work with I.T. partners to ensure reliable e-commerce tools; resolve systems problems that arise
  • Manage the day-to-day operational relationship with customers

Minimum Qualification

  • 2 or more years of related industry or scheduling experience
  • Proficiency with analytical tools (spreadsheets) and presentation software
  • Experience with analyzing large datasets and identify trends or patterns related to nominations and scheduling
  • Prior experience in the natural gas industry, particularly with nominations and scheduling processes
