Financial Analyst, Consolidation
About the role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst – FP&A (Consolidation) to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. This role will be primarily responsible for supporting the consolidation of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in financial planning, reporting systems, and data analysis, and is capable of working cross-functionally with finance teams in various business units.
The Financial Analyst, Consolidation will:
Management Reporting
- Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting packages.
- Prepare and distribute consolidated management reports, variance analyses, and executive dashboards
- Review monthly financials and key performance metrics and investigate major discrepancies in revenues and expenses.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of reported financial data across departments and entities.
- Collaborate with accounting to ensure alignment between actuals and reporting data.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support the annual budgeting process, including consolidation of budget submissions and preparing presentations for executive review.
- Assist with quarterly rolling forecasts by collecting input from business units and synthesizing into a consolidated outlook.
- Identify key trends, risks, and opportunities in financial results
To be successful as a Financial Analyst with People Corporation, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 1- 2 years of experience in finance and accounting industry, or experience in data analytics.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
All-star candidates will have:
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, power query, power BI
- Strong communication skills, ability to establish and build relationships with various stakeholders
