On the Bell Business Markets team, you’ll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You’ll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocating technical resources (technicians, installers, supervisors) to installation projects in a 5-week work plan, while optimizing resources.
  • Working with project managers to resolve resource availability conflicts.
  • Communicating weekly assignments to certain groups of employees. Managing ad-hoc changes to daily and weekly assignments (e.g., work cancellations, absences, etc.)
  • Working with project managers to improve detailed activity scheduling, particularly with regard to installation activities and coordination with other trades.
  • Coordinating the production of technical and commercial proposals by a team of designers to ensure that deadlines are met. This includes receiving client requests, assigning a designer based on employment level, monitoring the progress of the work up to the submission of the proposal. The position does not entail managing designers or involvement in proposal content.
  • Producing a weekly status report on the progress of proposals using established benchmarks, mastering the details, and reporting weekly to Bell's client, identifying obstacles, risks, and requests that will address the aforementioned.
  • Supporting employees in administrative functions, such as helping to obtain client access, monitoring client or Bell approvals, obtaining the status of orders for projects, verifying timesheets and settling supplier or client billing issues.

Critical Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, project management, engineering or sales.
  • Experience dealing directly with business clients (B2B)
  • Telecommunications training/experience
  • Minimum DSC or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Project management training/experience is an asset
  • Business administration training/experience is an asset

Preferred Qualifications

  • General knowledge of telecommunications projects, including Wi-Fi, LAN, telephony and wiring
  • Aptitude for project management, particularly resource allocation and deadline management
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, resource constraints, and ambiguity
  • Ability to set priorities in a changing environment
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems rationally
  • Autonomy and resourcefulness
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Business-minded
  • Mastery of Excel, JIRA, Outlook, Word
  • Excellent French and mastery of English
  • General knowledge of the coordination of real estate projects or projects involving worksites

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
