About the Role – 13-Month Maternity Leave Contract
Lead the strategic development and execution of brand initiatives across multiple channels. This is a 13-month maternity leave contract, reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role is ideal for a brand-savvy professional with a strong understanding of consumer behavior, B2B marketing, and product lifecycle management. You will be responsible for shaping the brand’s identity, driving awareness, and ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate is comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for design.
Brand Strategy & Marketing
- Own and evolve the brand strategy, positioning, and messaging to ensure alignment with business goals
- Lead go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launches and brand campaigns (B2B and B2C)
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including the annual promotional calendar in collaboration with other departments
- Analyze market, consumer, stylist and category trends, along with competitive activity, to identify opportunities and threats
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, creative, digital, social) to ensure brand consistency and performance Creative & Content
- Lead brand, product and model photoshoots from concept to final asset delivery
- Provide creative direction for photoshoots, including model selection, shot lists, production planning and on-set execution
- Review and approve marketing assets, packaging and promotional materials Product Development & Innovation
- Lead/participate in product development initiatives from concept through launch, identifying portfolio gaps and recommending new opportunities for consumers and professional stylists Financial & Performance Management
- Evaluate the profitability and financial viability of promotions, launches and marketing initiatives, ensuring they support revenue and margin objectives
- Prepare forecasts, profitability calculations and post-campaign analyses to optimize performance and drive growth
- Plan, allocate and manage budgets, project timelines, priorities and stakeholders to ensure on-time execution Team & Partnerships
- Manage and provide direction to the Marketing Specialist reporting to the Brand Manager
- Build strong relationships with external partners and agencies Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 3- 5 years of experience in brand management
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
- Deep understanding of brand building, consumer engagement, and marketing analytics
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken, read, and written)
