About the role

Job Title: Account Executive Department: PR & Marketing Reports To: Senior Account Executive (and above)

The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for developing and executing PR and social media strategies for NKPR and its clients. This role serves as a project manager on assigned accounts, overseeing day-to-day client relationships, ensuring deliverables are met, and driving results aligned with client objectives such as awareness, media coverage, sales, and new business opportunities.

Key Accountabilities Strategy & Client Management Drafts annual (or quarterly/bi-annual, depending on client needs) PR strategies and plans. Monitors results and business impact; flags significant wins or underperformance to Account Manager. Evaluates opportunities for strategic value and provides counsel to clients. Researches and recommends strategic or creative partnerships. Contributes to weekly account planning, making recommendations to prioritize resources. Leads client update calls and ensures agendas are prepared. Reviews and analyzes coverage reports for client updates. Prepares and manages account budgets. Conducts social media audits and provides actionable content recommendations. Media & Influencer Relations Reviews and provides feedback on media/influencer lists. Contributes to development of compelling story angles. Oversees and executes pitching calendars. Provides coaching and feedback on pitches drafted by junior team members. Pitches media directly and secures coverage across platforms (product placement, features, broadcast, business). Drafts media materials including press releases, statements, and Q&A responses. Develops and manages influencer programs. Oversees showroom activations, client product drops, and ensures showroom pulls are executed. Event Management Develops and manages event critical paths, budgets, and run-of-show documents. Prepares roles and responsibilities (R&Rs) for the NKPR team and identifies resourcing needs. Oversees AC deliverables, including vendor contracts, invite lists, RSVP tracking, critical paths, and creative elements. Provides timely updates to senior leadership/Natasha when required. Financial Management Prepares and manages client budgets. Coordinates with Finance/Operations to ensure accurate invoicing. Educates junior team members on financial best practices. Tracks contract end dates and identifies upsell opportunities. Leadership & Coaching Manages Account Coordinators and interns, fostering development through constructive feedback. Leads by example, encouraging creativity, accountability, and professional growth. Reporting, Administration & Other Responsibilities Provides weekly internal updates to managers. Participates actively in brainstorms and all-staff meetings. Completes activity reports, manages personal time on accounts, and flags discrepancies in workload to managers.
