Sr. Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, Jersey City, NJ:
Design, build, test, and deploy Business Intelligence reports and dashboards using Tableau, SQL Server, and SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio). Collaborate with database developers and business analysts to extract, transform, and load data as required by the business, employing data modeling and data warehousing concepts. Create rich visualizations by utilizing Tableau best practices and administer Tableau server content daily. Engage with business users and stakeholders to gather key requirements, document high-level and functional specifications, review potential solutions, and prepare an execution plan. Allocate development tasks to junior team members and provide training as needed.
Telecommuting permitted up to 40%.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, Salary of $ $210,000.00 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:
- Tableau Desktop and Server administration;
- SQL and programming in SQL Server;
- Data refresh automation, dashboard building and report distribution;
- Data preparation (using ETL), Data modeling, Data visualization, Analytics, or UI/UX;
- Python programming to build data extracts and call tableau API’s;
- Data connections to RDBMS on premise, Cloud data (Databricks, Snowflake, Cloudera Impala or similar), ODBC/JDBC and Flat files;
- Global Markets, Investment Banking, Capital Markets and Securtitized Products business functions, process flows and data structures;
- Relational Databases (Tables, Views, Functions, Indexes), Data Warehousing, and ETL;
- Architecture of Application Servers, configurations, high availability, and DR;;
- BI Tools (Alteryx, Qlik, or PowerBI); and,
- Extracting large volumes of data for BI tools (full and incremental), performance optimization of reports, and security/access models. Telecommuting permitted up to 40%.

The base salary for this job is $210,000.00 per year. This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
