What You'll Be Doing Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the on-call road technician schedule.
- Responsible for all service calls, including evenings and weekends.
- Dispatch the road technicians to service calls.
- Communicate with customers when service calls are received and update them on turnaround times when parts or an exchange is needed and when the service has been completed.
- Manage regular maintenance schedules for equipment.
- Manage annual inspections to ensure equipment stays up to date.
- Prioritize work schedule for field mechanics (ensure they are only working on high priority equipment while at the branch).
Requirements And Skills What You'll Bring to the Team
- Minimum secondary V diploma or equivalent; DEP in mechanics or parts is an asset.
- Two years of experience in the rental/construction industry or similar.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Takes initiative, self-directed, organized and good planning skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Comfortable with computer systems.
