Position Title: Lead Mechanic

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Expected Start Date: Upon approval of work authorization

The Lead Mechanic will:

• Repair and maintain bicycles and related equipment
• Performing full bicycle overhauls, including drivetrain, brake, and component
• servicing
• Building, truing, and tensioning bicycle wheels
• Installing frame protection and bicycle accessories
• Performing hydraulic brake bleeding and adjustments
• Maintaining and servicing the shop’s rental fleet
• Assist and mentor junior technicians
• Organize workshop workflow and ensure efficient operations
• Provide technical advice and customer service
• Maintain safety standards in the workshop
• Perform other duties consistent with NOC 73209

Wage and Hours

-Offered Wage: $26.00/hour -Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday -Overtime: Paid according to Alberta Employment Standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in bicycle repair and maintenance
• Must have experience with BRM (Bicycle Rental Manager) and Lightspeed
• Must be able to build and true wheels, install frame protection, bleed hydraulic
• brakes, and perform complete bicycle overhauls.
• Ability to work independently and supervise small tasks/projects
• Preference will be given to bilingual applicants; however, all qualified candidates are

• Driver’s license considered an asset
