Your role Join our team as an Assistant Project Manager in Saskatchewan. In this role, you’ll support experienced project managers and get the opportunity to sharpen your skills on diverse range of projects varying in scope and complexity across Saskatchewan. You will hone your project management skills by contributing to various projects from commercial buildings and fit-ups, social organizations, schools, water and wastewater and Indigenous communities. Take a positive approach to your work and enjoy learning and contributing new ideas and solutions. Build strong relationships with your teammates and project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
You will be a critical communication link between the Project Manager, client and other stakeholders You provide superior project support to Project Managers by managing schedule updates, maintaining project controls, developing progress reports and preparing tender and contract documents Ensure project activities are conducted in accordance with Colliers Project Leaders’ Quality Management System Attend project meetings, documenting action items and key decisions to share with the team Provide relief support to other Assistant Project Managers or Project Managers, when available to do so Qualifications A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management, project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience 1-3 years’ experience in project management consulting supporting with the delivery of projects in areas such as construction, engineering or architecture. Previous experience can include summer work terms, co-operative education programs or internships. Previous exposure to consultant and design management, construction contract administration or project financials is a strong asset An overall general understanding of current construction practices CAPM, LEED or other relevant industry accreditation is considered a strong asset Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Self-motivation, initiative and an eagerness to learn and contribute Highly proficient in MS Project, MS Word and MS Excel Don’t have every single qualification?
