Who we're looking for:

Rogers is seeking a Sr. Desktop Solution Specialist to lead the design, deployment, and security of corporate end-user computing environments. This role is responsible for establishing hardware, software, and application standards, configuring and maintaining infrastructure tools, and ensuring all endpoint devices and operating systems are efficiently managed and secured.

As a key technical expert, you will develop and implement endpoint security policies, oversee device and application deployment, and act as an escalation point for complex issues. Your work ensures that all corporate devices, applications, and tools remain reliable, secure, and optimized for business needs.

What you'll do:

  • Design, build, and maintain SCCM infrastructure and keep it updated with the latest patches.
  • Manage device build processes and configurations in Intune for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, ensuring OS builds and components remain current.
  • Deploy and maintain security policies, applications, and monthly patches across all corporate devices, including tools like GPO, Intune profiles, MDE, and Jamf.
  • Develop and maintain thin client solutions, including OS deployment and policy configuration for stability and security.
  • Package, test, and deploy software and OS updates, collaborating with business units to minimize user impact.
  • Analyze and resolve complex desktop issues, monitor performance metrics in SCCM, Intune, and Jamf, and implement solutions to improve reliability.
  • Manage end-user rights solutions (BeyondTrust) and remote desktop support tools, including deployment strategies and troubleshooting.
  • Provide third-level support for corporate devices and assist with hardware evaluation and standardization.
  • Research and recommend new desktop technologies, maintain licensing compliance, and optimize vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with security and cross-functional teams on initiatives such as endpoint hardening, Wi-Fi authentication, IPv6, and virtual desktop solutions.

What you bring:

  • University degree with focus on Computer Science.
  • Ensure in-depth understanding of computing systems and supporting technologies.
  • 5+ years of PCI work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing SCCM environments.
  • 3+ years of experience managing Intune.
  • Experience with IGEL systems would be a benefit.
  • Experience with Network topology.
  • Experience with Remote Support solutions.
