McCain Foods (Canada) – Florenceville Distribution Center is currently looking for a Summer Student to join our team as a Warehouse Labourer. This role will be for a duration of 4 months from May to August.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Furthermore, in order to be considered, you will attend work regularly within Company guidelines and have a strong safety record.
- Must have Grade 12 or equivalent
- Must have, or be able to obtain, a forklift operators’ certificate for both counterbalance and reach trucks
- Ability to lift, approximately 20 kgs
- A good attendance record is required
- Good written, oral and math skills are important
- Must attend team meetings as required
- Must be highly motivated, observant with good initiative, and a positive attitude.
- Must be flexible and able to work in a fast pace environment, adapting to and embracing change as it occurs.
Compensation Package : - Starting at 20.65 CAD hourly + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
