About the role
-
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on our trailers, vehicles and compressors, both on-site and in shop.

Operate mobile equipment (i.e. skidsteer and loader).

Perform equipment inspections and verify that all components are functional.
-
Responsible for the upkeep and repairs to fleet (trucks and trailers).
-
Relocate trailers throughout the shop and laydown.
-
Follow all guidelines and preventative maintenance schedules outlined by the organization and manufacturers.

Verify, print and upload documentation and records as required.
-
Organize yard and shop and clearly identify equipment ready and inspected vs. out of service.
-
Identify any services required and tag equipment not deemed safe for operation.
-
Support Fleet Supervisor with preventative maintenance appointments, including delivery and/or pick up of units.
-
General grounds keeping in various weather conditions.
-
Additional duties as required.

Must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds or more

Must pass drug and alcohol testing
-
Valid class 5 license with clean abstract

Skid steer operation experience an asset
-
Experience hauling trailers and equipment and an asset

Jordair compressor operation and maintenance knowledge an asset

Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting abilities

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
