What You’ll Be Doing As an associate in the Wealth Solutions Group at CIBC Global Markets, you will be responsible for distributing a diverse range of equity- and rate-linked structured products to investment advisor networks across Quebec. Your role includes initiating and nurturing client relationships through outbound and follow-up calls, generating value-added ideas, and conducting client meetings and presentations. You will collaborate with CIBC infrastructure groups — including product engineering, advisory, and trading — to ensure seamless communication and support. Working closely with other marketers, you will help develop tailored solutions, facilitate timely execution, and provide up-to-date product and rate information to clients. You will also deliver exceptional service to existing buyers and support colleagues in daily desk operations.

  • Initiative: Demonstrate a self-starter mindset by launching call campaigns and keeping clients informed about market developments and product opportunities.
  • Attention to detail: Maintain a meticulous focus on details that impact pricing and enhance the overall client experience.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate your experience. You are passionate about financial markets. You have a strong understanding of the current market environment and knowledge of structured rates and equity derivatives. You are highly qualified. You hold an undergraduate or master’s degree in commerce, finance, or STEM. Progress toward the CFA designation is considered an asset. Work experience: Experience in related industries is strongly preferred. A background in accounting and finance is also an asset. Knowledge of current financial markets is required, along with a solid understanding of current market transactions.
