Business Overview This role reports to the Manager, Information Security and Risk
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Identity Access Management (IAM) team at Fidelity Canada. The primary responsibilities will include team management, system access (application and AD) provisioning, creating, and performing access reviews, Job Role maintenance, resolving IAM issues, and implementing IAM tools.
How You'll Make An Impact Day-to-day processing of access requests, including but not limited to initial new hire setup, updating accesses, and termination of access
- Meets departmental SLAs & and targets relating to IAM functions.
- Zero inappropriate access.
Perform access reviews looking for potential security issues (for example excessive privileges relative to job role, separation of duties, inappropriate access)
- Reviewing IAM and AD reports for anomalies and inappropriate access.
- Follow frameworks and processes related to RBAC (Role Based Access Control) and least privilege.
- Documents and Escalate issues and concerns to the Manager and business management as needed.
Access Job Role Development and Management
- Job Roles stay current and reflect actual access required by the business.
Support internal and external audits by gathering and/or coordinating deliverables for necessary evidence and review
- Zero inappropriate access audit issues.
- Timely support for audit requests.
Develop, Manage, and Build an Effective Team
- Meet weekly with staff members and support and coach them in their day-to-day work, career development, and developmental goals.
- Objectively evaluate employee performance.
- Give timely and constructive feedback.
- Address performance issues in a timely and direct manner.
What We Are Looking For
- College degree (3-year program) in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in the Information Security / IAM.
- 1 year experience within an enterprise environment leading or managing teams.
- Strong organizational skills, must be able to handle multiple initiatives/tasks at the same time.
- Must be detail-oriented and process-driven.
Nice to have -
- Banking, finance, or wealth management industry related experience.
- Knowledge or experience working with SailPoint IAM platform.
The Expertise You Bring
- Knowledge of and experience with IAM systems and frameworks
- Experience with Enterprise Directory and Active Directory (AD)
- In-depth knowledge of security policies, Windows, desktop and mobile systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to learn and adopt evolving industry best practices
- Effective coaching, knowledge transfer and training capabilities
- Advanced analytical reporting capability
- Reasonable understanding of IT infrastructure and application technologies

- Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus A competitive annual range of $129,000 to $158,000 based on your experience and qualifications.
